From the start, Heidi has consistently shown an in depth passion and understanding of the violin as well as general music history and theory. Having been educated all over the world and as a professional player herself, Heidi pulls from her wealth of knowledge and experience to create a learning environment in her studio that is effective and unique. Her teaching style is thorough as she helps students go beyond simply ‘learning notes’ through working on posture, tension, ergonomics, attitude, performance etiquette and more. We have grown immensely and have seen the same results with most other students in her studio. Heidi is an extremely dynamic teacher with an incredibly high quality violin/viola program.
